Producing medicines closer to the communities that need them improves health equity, reduces supply chain disruptions, and increases access to essential medicines for millions of people in low- and-middle-income countries. Yet, 70-90 percent of medicines in Africa are produced outside the continent.
PQM+ supports local manufacturers to produce priority medical products that meet global standards and comply with good manufacturing practices (GMP). We help manufacturers achieve World Health Organization (WHO) prequalification by conducting detailed assessments, supporting product and dossier development, conducting mock audits, and more.
